As part of the facade renovation project, we implemented a comprehensive system of thermal insulation and aesthetic upgrading of the log house in Otočec. The project was challenging due to the specifics of the wooden building and the need for a light but effective solution.
the surfaces were coated with a strong granulation emulsion for better adhesion of the insulation and the resistance of the OSB boards.
Thermal insulation
We installed 5 cm thick EPS styrofoam on the prepared base with light fibrous glue in order to reduce the total weight of the system.Installation of shelves
Aesthetic and functional shelves were carefully assembled before further processing.Anchoring and reinforcement
We additionally anchored the Styrofoam, installed the corners and applied a reinforcing layer with fibrous glue for greater strength.Final layer
After applying the finishing emulsion, we finished the facade with a selected colored decorative layer.Final treatment
We sealed all the shelves with silicone, installed ventilation grilles in the same color as the facade and carried out cleaning of the construction site and removal of waste.
✅ Result:
With the new facade, the log house acquired a modern look, improved thermal insulation and functional ventilation, all without overloading the structure. The project was completed accurately, aesthetically and in accordance with the highest standards of execution.
