At Dvor, we built a massive stone escarpment, which is not only functional, but also aesthetically perfect.
Due to difficult access and space limitations, we used a customized approach with manual stone installation and smaller vehicles for material delivery. Skarpa is designed to withstand long-term soil pressure and weather effects, while at the same time aesthetically blending into the natural surroundings. walls.
Selection and installation of stone

• Each stone was placed and hardened by hand.Concreting and hardening
• Concrete (40-50 cm wide) was poured behind each stone, which ensures exceptional strength.
• We installed an additional reinforcing mesh at the back for additional stability.Upper finish (cap)
• The upper part was made of treated stone.
• We added a concrete layer with a slight slope for efficient drainage.Drainage
• We installed a drainage pipe in the middle of the wall, which allows water to drain away and thus reduces the pressure on the scarp.Grouting and finishing processing
• The joints between the stones were filled with a mixture of fine sand (wash) and cement.
• A beautiful and traditional look was achieved, which aesthetically surpasses classic concrete solutions.
